Personal Lines Underwriting Senior Officer

About the role

Elmo Insurance, a company linked to global and financially strong reinsurers, is recruiting an organised and detail-oriented person to join its Personal Lines Underwriting team on a full-time basis. The role covers customer service, product advice and processing of quotations, policies and renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service across face-to-face, email and telephone channels.
• Give clear, tailored advice on personal lines insurance products so customers understand their needs.
• Process quotations, policies and renewals efficiently while keeping service quality high.
• Liaise with third parties and intermediaries to support them and resolve issues.
• Keep customer documents accurate and secure in line with regulatory and company requirements.
• Guide junior team members and take initiative to resolve client concerns.
• Comply with market conduct rules, risk management policies and internal procedures.

Required profile

• At least two years' experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and integrity.
• Confident dealing with a wide range of customer profiles and situations.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Team-playing attitude to help grow the portfolio.

Required skills

• Clear, professional communication in English and Maltese.
