Offshore Towage Crew – Captain, Chief Officer, Engineer & Deck/Engine Ratings (Malta)

About the role

We are launching a recruitment campaign in Malta for offshore towage operations. The campaign seeks experienced seafarers to fill multiple ranks on tugboats that support offshore activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate tugboats safely and efficiently for offshore towage missions.
• Maintain vessel systems and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
• Coordinate deck and engine department activities during rotations.
• Manage onboard accommodation and crew welfare.

Required profile

• Reliable maritime professional with a strong safety mindset.
• Proven experience in vessel operations and ability to work in an international crew.
• Good command of English.
• Flexibility to adapt to 2‑month on/2‑month off rotations (EU) or 6‑month on/6‑month off rotations (non‑EU).

Required skills

• Valid STCW certification appropriate to the role (II/2, III/2, II/4, II/5, III/4, III/5).
• ASD tug experience and offshore towage experience (required for Captain and Chief Officer, advantageous for all).
• Food Handling Course Certificate or cooking experience for Deck Rating positions.
