Marketing Executive – Brand & Events

About the role

The Marketing Executive will support the Marketing Manager in delivering brand‑building activities, events and campaigns for a leading wines and spirits company. You will work within a dynamic team, helping to increase brand visibility across trade channels and ensuring marketing initiatives are executed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Drive brand visibility and growth across all trade channels, aligning with company and supplier standards.
• Conduct market research, analyse trends and produce regular performance reports.
• Prepare and submit marketing reports on supplier performance, campaign outcomes and budget alignment.
• Track marketing expenses versus budget to ensure cost‑effective campaign execution.
• Plan, coordinate and execute brand events, displays and promotional campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to support marketing requests.
• Develop press releases, articles and other media content to enhance brand visibility.
• Create and publish engaging content across social media platforms.
• Assist with purchasing point‑of‑sale material and support participation in local and international fairs.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a marketing or related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
• Innovative, diligent, creative with strong presentation skills.
• Team player with a hands‑on approach and ability to work independently.
• Capable of analysing marketing campaigns and handling multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Maltese and English.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when events are scheduled.
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with graphic design software.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and web analytics.
