Maintenance Person

About the role

Hudson is looking for a full-time Maintenance Person in Malta. The role covers emergency repairs, preventative maintenance and minor installations and repairs across properties, with performance measured through issue response and resolution times.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all emergency repairs in properties as assigned by the Projects & Facilities Manager or Property Administrator.
• Perform preventative maintenance in properties as assigned.
• Perform minor electrical installations and repairs, safely; a wireman licence "A" is an asset.
• Perform minor plumbing installations and repairs.
• Carry out general maintenance to building fabric, small gypsum works, plastering and painting.
• Carry out fixture and furniture assembly, installations and minor carpentry work.
• Move furniture and equipment while keeping the environment clean and safe.
• Purchase the materials needed for the assigned jobs.

Required profile

• Clean and valid driving licence.
• Availability after normal working hours on an on-call schedule.
• Able to work independently with good troubleshooting capabilities.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of electrical installations and safe working practices.
• Minor electrical, plumbing, plastering, painting and carpentry work.
