Land Surveyor

About the role

Ceek is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join its team in Malta. The role focuses on delivering accurate topographical and construction surveys for road, drainage, utility and other infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct topographic and construction surveys using Leica TS12 Total Station, ensuring high data accuracy.
• Perform precise site setting‑out for roads, drainage systems, curbs, utilities and related infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain control points and benchmarks across project sites.
• Interpret construction drawings, CAD files and design specifications to guide field activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to verify that survey data meets design tolerances.
• Collect, process and deliver survey data in CAD, CSV or DWG formats for project integration.
• Monitor on‑site construction progress, checking levels and alignments against approved plans.
• Maintain detailed survey logs, equipment calibration records and field notes.
• Assist in preparing as‑built documentation and handover drawings.
• Uphold health and safety standards and ensure proper maintenance of surveying equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on land surveying experience, preferably in civil engineering or road construction.
• Strong ability to interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
• Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy in data collection and reporting.
• Effective communicator capable of working independently on site.
