About the role
The plumber is responsible for maintaining and repairing all plumbing facilities on board the vessel. Working closely with the Hotel Engineer and ship engineers, the role ensures technical standards are met and the plumbing workshop remains clean and organized.
Key responsibilities
- Follow the Hotel Engineer’s instructions for maintenance and upkeep of plumbing equipment.
- Repair, maintain and clean machinery and equipment as required.
- Adhere to safety and environmental policies, avoiding material waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the plumbing workshop and tools.
Required profile
- Fluent in English (oral and written), at least 18 years old and in good health.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a plumbing position or similar.
- Ability to work long hours under pressure with a positive attitude.
