Junior Compliance Officer

About the role

Shift4 is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Compliance Officer to join its Malta team. You will handle a high volume of structured compliance tasks, supporting financial crime prevention and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and related documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Draft timely responses to Requests for Information from law enforcement, the FIAU, courts and other regulatory bodies.
• Maintain and update compliance registers (SARs, whistleblowing, gifts & hospitality, conflicts of interest, etc.) ensuring audit readiness.
• Support internal compliance reporting, KPI monitoring and senior‑management presentations.
• Conduct sample‑based compliance testing as part of the Monitoring Program.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of related experience in compliance or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical, process‑driven approach.
• Excellent written communication skills for professional correspondence.
• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
