Junior Account Manager – Payments (Malta)

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers and wants to build a long‑term career within the FinTech sector. You will support Malta‑based merchants using the company’s payment‑acquiring services while learning merchant onboarding, payments and account management.

Key responsibilities

• Support relationships with Malta‑based merchants.
• Assist merchants throughout the onboarding and account setup process.
• Respond to day‑to‑day enquiries and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Conduct regular follow‑ups to ensure merchants are satisfied with the service.
• Support the handover of new merchants from Sales to Account Management.
• Maintain accurate records of merchant interactions within the CRM.
• Work closely with Sales, Support and Product teams to resolve issues and improve the merchant experience.
• Learn how to review merchant performance and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Fluent in Maltese and English.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Friendly, professional and customer‑focused approach.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a willingness to take initiative.
• Comfortable using digital tools and learning new systems.
• Motivated to develop a career within payments and financial services.
• Valid driving licence is required.
