IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer you will design, build and maintain the core technology infrastructure that supports the organization’s systems and applications. The role ensures that the infrastructure is reliable, secure and scalable, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain operating environments on‑premises and in the cloud.
• Apply best practices and security regulations to all infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot incidents, diagnose root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Administer Atlassian Jira and Confluence, managing workflows, automation rules and support tickets.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line support and training to end users.
• Update software and hardware as required and document all solutions and processes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for server deployment and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with IT teams, stakeholders and vendors to align solutions with business needs.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, including public holidays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as MCSE or Microsoft Azure Administrator are a plus.
• Strong technical background in networking, virtualization, storage and server management.
• Minimum two years of experience in IT infrastructure roles.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Linux environments.
