Insurance Audit Senior – Insurance Sector

About the role

EY is seeking an Insurance Audit Senior to join its Insurance Audit team. You will deliver high‑quality assurance services to a range of clients, from local insurers to globally recognised brands, helping them strengthen governance and reporting reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete external audit engagements for insurance clients, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Identify and document higher‑risk areas, applying IFRS and insurance‑specific audit procedures.
• Coach and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.
• Stay updated on local and international market trends, especially IFRS 17 and insurance regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• ACA, CA, ACCA or comparable international qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading external audits, preferably within the insurance sector.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proactive, can‑do attitude and ability to work independently.
