Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will support day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with internal and statutory requirements. This position works closely with suppliers, internal departments, and the wider Finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process purchase invoices and reconcile supplier accounts.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and record all financial transactions accurately.
• Monitor supplier pricing and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Prepare monthly accruals and process capital‑expenditure transactions.
• Maintain financial records and assist with management reporting.
• Support stock‑take activities and handle administrative tasks such as licence and permit applications.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Provide general support to the Finance team as needed.

Required profile

• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Previous experience in finance, procurement, logistics, administration or a similar role (hospitality experience and familiarity with accounting software are a plus).
