Director – Financial Advisory Services (up to €100k)

About the role

Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a Director for its Financial Advisory Services team in Birkirkara. The role involves managing corporate finance assignments, leading the advisory team, and interfacing with clients, financiers and auditors while reporting directly to partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate finance assignments such as company valuations, IFRS reporting, feasibility studies and financial due diligence.
• Manage assignments from engagement letters through risk & compliance checks, financial modelling, report drafting, billing and debt collection.
• Mentor, coach and evaluate team members, ensuring accurate timesheet recording and quality control.
• Develop and nurture key client relationships and drive business development initiatives.
• Define and execute the department’s long‑term strategy, contributing to profitability and growth.

Required profile

• ACCA qualified or Master’s in Accountancy.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in financial advisory or corporate finance with proven managerial leadership.
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen and networking abilities.
• Track record of delivering profitable advisory projects and driving departmental success.

Required skills

• IFRS standards and reporting.
• Financial modelling and company valuations.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• MS Office suite proficiency.
• Preparation of high‑quality financial and advisory reports.
