Delivery Driver

About the role

Hudson Group, an international retailer and distributor active in sport and fashion wear, is looking for a Delivery Driver in Malta. The driver takes over from the delivery coordinator, delivers stock and paperwork to clients and acts as the main point of contact representing the company professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the Delivery Coordinator and check the prepared stock against the paperwork and delivery orders
• Load the van correctly so boxes are delivered in the right order, without mixing clients' goods
• Drive to clients on time, following routes and the time schedule
• Handle loading, unloading, preparation, inspection and operation of the delivery vehicle properly
• Manage external issues such as traffic and parking
• Hand over boxes to shop staff, verify stock against the paperwork and collect their signatures
• Keep the correct paperwork and help with ad hoc warehouse work
• Follow all health and safety regulations and standards

Required profile

• Proven working experience
• Valid Maltese professional driver's licence (type B)
• Ability to operate a forklift in various weather and traffic conditions
• MATSEC certification
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
