Content and Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Content and Social Media Manager to own the tone of voice and content output across the group, covering website, blogs, PR and social media. The role reports to the Head of Marketing and works closely with the Digital Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain a consistent tone of voice across all customer‑facing content, including website, blog, PR, social media, email and app copy.
• Plan and manage the content calendar across channels, coordinating publishing schedules with campaign and product timelines.
• Write, edit and publish blog articles, website copy, PR materials and social media content.
• Manage day‑to‑day social media presence, including community management and responding to comments and direct messages.
• Brief and manage relationships with PR contacts, journalists and media outlets to secure coverage.
• Coordinate influencer and partnership content where relevant.
• Support campaign management by producing and adapting content assets across channels.
• Monitor content performance (engagement, reach, traffic) and adjust the content plan accordingly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑4 years’ experience in a content, social media or communications role, preferably in financial services, fintech or another regulated consumer‑facing industry.
• Demonstrable portfolio of published content across web, blog, PR and social media.
• Excellent written English; Maltese is an asset.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats and current best practice.
• Experience with content calendar and planning tools.
• Working knowledge of SEO principles as they apply to content.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple channels and deadlines.
