Commercial Tenders Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Tenders Officer to strengthen our Business Development team in Malta. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analysing and managing public and private tender opportunities, ensuring high‑quality proposals are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and identify public and private tender opportunities.
• Analyse RFPs, tender documents and procurement requirements.
• Prepare and submit pre‑qualification and tender documentation.
• Coordinate bid preparation with internal teams and senior management.
• Lead bid meetings and ensure deadlines are met.
• Write clear, professional and compelling tender proposals.
• Submit bids through online portals or hard copies as required.
• Maintain records of submitted bids and follow up on opportunities.
• Obtain feedback on successful and unsuccessful bids to improve future submissions.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in procurement and tendering.
• Proven experience preparing and writing tender or bid proposals.
• Strong written and verbal English and Maltese.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and strict deadlines.
• Experience with government tenders/projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of quantity surveying is considered an asset.
