Advisor – Risk Consulting Advisory Services

About the role

KPMG is looking for an Advisor to join its Risk Consulting Advisory Services team. You will work on Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) projects, including internal audit and anti‑money‑laundering engagements, supporting clients across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day GRC engagement tasks such as designing risk assessments, internal audit plans, audit programs, working papers and reports.
• Perform fieldwork, ensure timely completion of engagement phases and assist in managing small engagements.
• Supervise and support junior team members.
• Update senior team members on progress and any changes that may affect the engagement plan.
• Present findings and draft clear, concise reports with minimal guidance.
• Take ownership of personal development and seek learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with firm‑wide subject‑matter experts and maintain productive relationships with client staff and KPMG senior members.

Required profile

• Degree in accountancy, financial services, forensic, law or another relevant professional qualification.
• 1‑2 years of experience, preferably in Governance, Risk and Compliance, Internal Audit or Anti‑Money Laundering.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Good project‑management skills and willingness to pursue further relevant qualifications.
