About the role

The European Forensic Institute, a fully accredited Higher Education Institution specialising in forensic science, is looking for an Admissions and Student Services Officer. You will be a key point of contact for students, supporting them from admissions and enrolment through to day-to-day enquiries and administrative needs, within an international team.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and independently manage the admissions process from initial enquiry through application, offer, registration and enrolment.
  • Deliver a professional, responsive and student-centred service to prospective students, applicants and enrolled international students.
  • Review applications, coordinate admissions decisions with academic or management personnel and communicate outcomes accurately and promptly.
  • Develop and improve admissions procedures, systems, communications and service standards.
  • Support international applicants with pre-arrival requirements and documentation for visa and permit applications, without giving legal or immigration advice.
  • Monitor applications, deadlines, documentation, payments and outstanding matters, and maintain accurate, confidential applicant and student records.
  • Prepare admissions reports, forecasts and management information, and support audits and compliance.
  • Support recruitment, institutional promotion and external partnerships, including travel for recruitment events and trade fairs.
  • Advise management on admissions performance, student-service issues, operational risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead or supervise staff or service providers involved in admissions, recruitment or international student support.

Required profile

  • English at C1 level and Italian at business-professional level.
  • Desirable: experience in student recruitment, admissions, education consultancy or consultative sales; experience in higher or vocational education organisations; experience with international students.

Required skills

  • CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong customer service orientation and sales and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple applicants at once and work independently.

What we offer

  • A multicultural and dynamic team.
  • An engagement with a growing, innovative, student-centred institution.
  • Continuous professional development and career growth.
