About the role

Join the Accounting and Reporting function in Finance to prepare and maintain accounting information, support the preparation of group financial statements, and communicate with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting functions, update data and process payments.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements, ensuring statutory compliance.
• Perform reconciliations for data analysis, accuracy and validity.
• Prepare statutory reports for local and foreign authorities.
• Assist senior team members and participate in ad‑hoc finance projects.
• Monitor and implement internal controls and support auditors.

Required profile

• ACCA and/or B. Accty. (Hons) qualified or in final stages of ACCA.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting position.
• Strong analytical ability and knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Familiarity with Maltese Tax and VAT legislation.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Competent with standard accounting software packages.
