Accountant

About the role

PwC is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its Finance and Corporate Managed Services team within the Tax and Legal Line of Service. You will support a diverse portfolio of clients by handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensuring statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Update company books and prepare statutory financial statements and periodic management accounts.
• Assist with accounting queries and contribute to accounting‑specific engagements.
• Ensure client companies comply with all applicable legislation.
• Act as a primary contact for clients, liaising with auditors and third parties as needed.

Required profile

• Currently studying for or fully qualified in ACCA, or holding a relevant degree in Accountancy.
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently within stipulated time frames.
• Team‑oriented mindset to achieve organisational goals.
• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work at client premises, which may involve travel outside Malta.
