Software Developer in Test

About the role

We are seeking a talented Software Developer in Test to join our Development Team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of the bank’s digital solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern testing tools and methodologies in an agile environment, contributing to the delivery of scalable, high‑quality, and innovative digital products shaping the future of banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve automation testing frameworks.
• Develop internal tools that support the QA team’s daily activities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for on‑demand and nightly execution.
• Identify automation gaps, plan work and delegate tasks to QA Automation Engineers.
• Design and execute performance tests as needed.
• Monitor test executions, review results and propose timely improvements.
• Implement reporting and integrations to translate test outcomes into business‑readable formats.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure component‑level tests are correctly implemented and reviewed.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in QA or a similar role and 3 years in software development or automation.
• Strong communication skills and an approachable personality.
• Knowledge of trading, financial instruments or banking is a major asset.

Required skills

• API testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, Bruno or SoapUI.
• Version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Scripting languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Groovy.
• Issue‑tracking and test‑management tools: Jira, TestRail, Xray.
• Databases: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
• Experience with REST/XML, micro‑service and event‑driven architectures.
• CI/CD platforms: GoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab.
• Object‑oriented programming languages: C# and Java.
