Payments Relationship Manager

About the role

As a Payments Relationship Manager at MiFinity, you will oversee and enhance relationships with suppliers to ensure high‑quality product and service delivery, drive revenue growth and manage risk in the online payments ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop revenue opportunities across open banking, APMs, stablecoins and other payment innovations.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular performance and risk reviews.
• Monitor and analyse supplier KPIs per country, payment rail and supplier, recommending improvements to boost performance and revenue.
• Negotiate, draft and manage supplier contracts, ensuring favourable terms and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier relationships, creating contingency plans and staying abreast of regulatory changes.

Required profile

• University degree in Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent, or comparable experience.
• Minimum 4 years in the online payments industry (PSPs, APMs, open banking, stablecoins, banking rails).
• Strong understanding of payment flows from authorisation to settlement and reconciliation systems.
• Proven experience managing supplier issues and escalations, representing large clients.
• Independent, organised, with excellent communication and strategic commercial awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM systems or in‑house software platforms.
