Nurse (30‑hour week) – Therapeutic Programme

About the role

We are seeking a registered Nurse to join our therapeutic programme at our Marsaskala premises on a reduced 30‑hour week basis. You will provide high‑quality nursing care to service users, support caregivers, and contribute to a safe and compassionate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor clients’ conditions, assess needs, and communicate any deterioration to the programme manager, parents, and doctor.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client journals.
• Perform routine procedures such as medication administration, blood pressure measurement, and injections.
• Adjust and administer patient medication according to doctors’ orders.
• Liaise with parents regarding clients’ health and provide health‑education workshops.
• Collaborate with practitioners and support workers, offering clinical advice as needed.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support in line with programme requirements.
• Prepare specialist reports, statistical data, and end‑of‑term documentation.

Required profile

• Degree qualification (MQF Level 6) or equivalent in Nursing studies.
• Registered with the Council for Nurses and Midwives.
• Previous experience in a similar nursing role is an asset.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Committed, supportive, and able to work independently.
