Night Supervisor – Gozo

About the role

As a Night Supervisor at Meliá’s Hotel Ben Marsalforn in Gozo, you will lead the overnight front‑desk team, ensuring smooth operations throughout the night shift. You will act as the main point of contact for guests and management, delivering courteous and proactive service to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage check‑in and check‑out processes, issue room keys and provide information on hotel services.
• Handle online and phone reservations, process payments and upsell rooms to increase revenue.
• Answer incoming calls, direct calls to rooms or internal departments, and manage late‑night inquiries and special requests.
• Ensure SOPs, daily checklists and desk coverage are followed, maintain awareness of hotel status and execute smooth handovers to the next shift.
• Complete financial and non‑financial reporting, and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Availability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar front‑desk or night‑supervisor role within a hotel or resort.
• Passion for hospitality and strong interpersonal attitude.
• Knowledge of Opera Cloud is an asset.
