Material Scheduler

About the role

The Material Scheduler will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials across departments in line with production schedules. The role involves managing global suppliers, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely availability of components for manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite material flow between departments according to production plans.
• Handle suppliers worldwide, monitor delivery status and resolve any issues that arise.
• Review, distribute and continuously update production, work and shipment schedules.
• Ensure optimal resource utilization while striving for maximum production efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels following established procedures.
• Apply innovative solutions to improve enterprise resource planning processes.

Required profile

• Experience in material planning, production planning, purchasing, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts.
• Familiarity with planning and forecasting information systems.
• Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supplier‑management.
• Ability to communicate supply chain objectives and convey benefits to the organization.
• Customer‑centric approach.
• Proficient use of MS Office applications.
