IT Auditor

About the role

As an IT Auditor at BDO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of client IT systems and processes. You will evaluate and assess the effectiveness of information systems, internal controls, and risk management procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT environment, objectives, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the delivery of a portfolio of technology assurance engagements including external audits, gaming audits, GDPR/privacy audits or advisory, IT internal audits and service auditor reports (e.g., ISAE3402).
• Maintain communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure that engagement deadlines and quality expectations are met.
• Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and emerging best practices.
• Assist efforts to promote quality through education and other activities.
• Cultivate a productive, inventive, and teamwork‑driven workplace.
• Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Security, or another relevant field.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent certification is an asset.
• One to three years of experience within a corporate, consulting or technology advisory and assurance environment.
• Complete fluency in English.
• Strong communicator and self‑motivated.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
