IP Networks Engineer

About the role

Epic is seeking a skilled IP Networks Engineer to join its Technology Operations team. You will design, implement, and maintain the company’s IP network infrastructure across corporate offices, data centres, and virtual environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy network architectures, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points.
• Configure and manage IP addressing schemes, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Perform routine health checks, upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
• Provide LAN, WAN, and wireless troubleshooting and support for internal teams and end‑users.
• Administer firewalls and security appliances, enforce security policies, and manage VPN/IPSec tunnels.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose outages, and implement optimization measures.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, standards, and configuration documentation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on networking experience with a proactive troubleshooting mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a 24×7 on‑call rotation.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
