Integration Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Integration Engineer to join our Platform Services & Product Engineering team within the Bank’s Software Engineering division. The role focuses on designing, developing and supporting integration solutions that enable secure and efficient data exchange across internal systems, digital channels and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure, test and support integration solutions in line with established standards and project requirements.
• Implement and maintain APIs, web services and integration interfaces for secure communication between internal systems, digital channels and external partners.
• Design and maintain middleware and ESB integrations while ensuring compliance with architectural and security guidelines.
• Configure and support managed file transfer solutions such as MOVEit to enable secure information exchange.
• Create file‑transfer workflows, automation, scheduling and monitoring to support business operations.
• Support event‑driven and service‑oriented integration patterns as defined by solution designs.
• Participate in technical analysis and contribute to solution design under senior guidance.
• Perform unit, integration and end‑to‑end testing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Monitor integration services and file‑transfer processes, proactively resolving issues to maintain availability.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, defects and integration‑related problems, contributing to root‑cause analysis and service improvement.
• Maintain and enhance existing integration services for better performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Document technical specifications and configuration details accurately.
