Technical Product Owner

About the role

The Technical Product Owner bridges business intent and working software, ensuring delivered solutions meet quality standards and client needs. You will sit in the Technical Delivery Team, collaborating across Development, Core Banking, Infrastructure, Data and QA to turn requirements into live, documented software.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project delivery from business case analysis to production, managing backlogs, agile teams and change management.
• Own client technical onboarding, integration planning, testing and post‑go‑live support for multiple concurrent clients.
• Maintain and improve middleware and core banking systems, oversee regulatory reporting and third‑party integrations.
• Produce technical documentation for developer portals, Postman collections and internal guides, and stay abreast of industry trends.

Required profile

• 2+ years in payments or banking in a technical product owner, delivery or project management role.
• Development background with experience reading and debugging production code.
• Proven track record taking projects from requirement to production with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, able to manage client engineering relationships and set clear expectations.
• Fluent English and a degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• API fluency: OpenAPI, Postman, curl, REST, JSON, OAuth 2.0, mTLS, idempotency, webhooks.
• Debugging in Azure: Azure Portal, Application Insights, KQL.
• SQL and Power BI for reporting.
• Azure Service Bus and event‑driven architecture concepts.
