Information Systems & Security Officer

About the role

NSUS is looking for an Information Systems & Security Officer to join its Malta office. Reporting to the Senior Technical Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for the set‑up, maintenance and security of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain network devices such as firewalls, switches and wireless access points.
• Manage end‑user equipment including laptops, monitors, printers, scanners and CCTV systems.
• Maintain IT inventory, access‑control logs and ensure ISO27001 compliance.
• Perform information‑security risk assessments, monitor access to sensitive data and enforce secure data‑transfer procedures.
• Organise security training, support audits and collaborate with the Data Protection Officer.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in information security.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and high integrity.
• Fluency in English.
