HR Learning & Development Manager

About the role

As the HR Learning & Development Manager on our cruise line, you will nurture a culture of continuous growth and engagement among crew members. You will design and deliver learning initiatives that equip staff with the skills needed to provide exceptional guest experiences while supporting their personal career aspirations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate training programs tailored to diverse crew roles.
• Conduct workshops, seminars and on‑board learning sessions.
• Assess learning needs through analysis and feedback mechanisms.
• Measure the impact of development initiatives and report outcomes.
• Promote an inclusive, well‑being focused work environment.
• Collaborate with ship leadership to align learning strategies with operational goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR, teaching or education.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent certification.
• Fluent English; additional European language is a strong advantage.
• Proven public speaking and presentation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for coaching, mentoring and supporting crew well‑being.
