HR Business Partner - Commercial

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑focused HR Business Partner to join our Malta HR team. You will work closely with the Commercial functions – including SEO, Affiliate, Marketing, CRM and related areas – to deliver practical people solutions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial people leaders to provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management and day‑to‑day people matters.
• Support the employee lifecycle: probation, performance reviews, PIPs, contract changes and off‑boarding.
• Manage employee‑relations cases, escalating when necessary while ensuring compliance with Maltese employment law.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues in other regions to ensure a consistent, joined‑up approach for Commercial teams.
• Identify and implement improvements to HR processes and the overall employee experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of HR experience, preferably in iGaming or a similarly fast‑moving, commercial environment.
• Strong operational HR capability with a hands‑on approach and ability to manage a busy workload.
• Proven experience handling employee‑relations, performance management and PIP processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to work across all organisational levels.
• High discretion, sound judgement and ability to handle confidential matters.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Maltese employment legislation.
• Experience with performance‑management frameworks and employee‑relations case handling.
