Grocery Store Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Grocery Store Assistant to join the Wolt Market team in Marsa, Malta. You will work at the heart of our dark‑store operations, ensuring that online grocery orders are accurately gathered, packed and ready for pickup or delivery. The role involves a fast‑paced environment with shifts covering early mornings to late evenings, including weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with store management to maintain smooth store operations.
• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and courier partners.
• Unpack daily stock deliveries, restock shelves, and merchandise products.
• Ensure the freshest produce is offered and maintain product quality.
• Complete purchases, bag groceries and prepare orders for pickup.
• Keep the store clean, organized and compliant with health standards.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Professional and respectful attitude with a friendly communication style.
• Ability to work hard in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English; Maltese language is a plus.
• Previous retail experience is a strong advantage.
