Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

Join a major regulatory organisation where cybersecurity is essential for protecting critical systems and information. You will work in a small, growing Information Security team, reporting to the Information Security Manager and collaborating with broader technology groups.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security events, alerts and incidents using modern security technologies.
• Support vulnerability management, security assessments, hardening and remediation activities.
• Contribute to risk, compliance, audit and security assurance initiatives.
• Assist with cyber resilience, incident response and security awareness programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity or a related security role (ideal candidates have around 3 years).
• Analytical mindset with confidence to investigate alerts and support incidents.

Required skills

• Security monitoring.
• Vulnerability management.
• Incident response.
• Microsoft security technologies (e.g., XDR).
