Country Manager for Swedish Market

About the role

Kaizen Gaming, the team behind Betano, is looking for a Country Manager to lead its Swedish market. You will be the primary growth driver and the main liaison with the Swedish Gambling Authority, responsible for delivering results in line with budgets and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own full P&L accountability for the Swedish market, delivering weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Swedish Gambling Authority on operational matters.
• Drive commercial growth while ensuring strict compliance with Responsible Gaming and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct market research, develop business plans, budgets, and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Act as Betano’s spokesperson for Sweden and coordinate with product development and operations teams.
• Align marketing strategy and brand positioning with HQ, manage marketing budget allocation, and oversee campaign planning.
• Oversee Swedish content strategy, site localization, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with analysts and the BI team to monitor marketing activities and adjust tactics as needed.
• Recruit, manage, and retain the dedicated Swedish market team based in Malta.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing P&L for a market or business unit.
• Strong knowledge of the Swedish online gambling landscape, including competitive and regulatory developments.
• Excellent communication skills with regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Leadership experience building and motivating cross‑functional teams.
