Cost Controller – Head Office

About the role

dbgroup, Malta’s leading hospitality and leisure operator, is seeking a Cost Controller for its head office. The role involves monitoring cost budgets, analysing variances, and supporting continuous improvement across hotels and restaurant outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Review, investigate and explain monthly cost budget variances.
• Perform spot checks on invoices and conduct stock‑takes across various outlets.
• Analyse monthly cost of goods, wastage and consumables to identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and close monthly consumption reports and drive process improvements to meet KPIs.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar cost control or finance role.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Good organisational skills, ability to multitask and manage priorities efficiently.
• Willingness to travel by car to multiple store locations.
