Wealth Relationship Manager

About the role

The Wealth Relationship Manager will manage and develop relationships with high‑net‑worth (HNW) and affluent clients, focusing on client retention, asset growth and new business generation. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, experienced in wealth management and will help drive the next phase of growth for the Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing DPM clients, delivering high‑quality service and long‑term relationship building.
• Identify and act on opportunities to increase assets under management, generate referrals and acquire new HNW and corporate clients.
• Communicate client objectives and requests clearly to the investment team and ensure they are addressed promptly.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of portfolio positioning and investment rationale to respond confidently to client queries.
• Collaborate with the Head of Wealth Management and wider investment teams to deliver a consistent client experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, investment management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of investments, financial markets and portfolio management.
• Proven ability to retain and grow client assets while generating new business.
• Commercial, proactive and relationship‑focused approach with confidence engaging sophisticated investors.
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.
