About the role

We are seeking a passionate Chef De Partie to join our Sliema restaurant, where the focus is on live‑fire cooking and smoking seasonal ingredients. You will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high‑quality dishes on a concise menu while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain adequate supplies at your cooking stations and prepare frequently used ingredients such as vegetables and spices.
• Follow the Head Chef’s guidance, contribute ideas for new presentations and dishes, and help design menu items in collaboration with colleagues.
• Optimize cooking processes for speed and quality, adhering to standard recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines.
• Implement food‑control procedures, ensure perishable items are in perfect condition, and take preventive actions against waste.
• Monitor taste, temperature and visual appeal of prepared food and resolve any issues in your section, reporting to the Head Chef.
• Uphold strict personal hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards.
