Breakfast Chef

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Breakfast Chef to join the kitchen team at Anni Venti Caffè & Trattoria. You will lead the breakfast section, ensuring high‑quality food preparation and presentation in a fast‑paced, authentic Italian restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the breakfast station, coordinating daily operations.
• Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to the restaurant’s standards.
• Maintain strict hygiene, food‑quality, and kitchen‑cleanliness standards.
• Supervise and support Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
• Ensure all ingredients are pre‑pped and available for service.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering when needed.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to guarantee smooth service.
• Adhere to food‑safety and health regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie.
• Good knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Passion for food and attention to detail.
