Regional Business Development Lead — Stablecoin Payments

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Business Development Lead to drive adoption of our B2B stablecoin payment infrastructure in a specific market. You will own the end‑to‑end merchant acquisition process, from outreach to signed contracts, and shape how the product evolves based on market feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Run the full sales cycle with acquirers, aggregators, PSPs, POS providers and direct merchants, negotiating commercial terms and securing signatures.
• Build local acceptance coverage by structuring partnerships that enable scan‑to‑pay, coordinating with legal and compliance on licensing and settlement.
• Act as a commercial advisor to key accounts, feeding market insights into product roadmap such as checkout experience, QR flows and settlement currency.
• Design and launch campaigns and incentives that activate merchants, measuring success by transaction volume, conversion and retention.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, compliance and marketing to turn market requirements into shipped capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in payments, merchant acquiring, PSP or aggregator environments with a proven track record of closing deals.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial strategy independently from pipeline generation to contract signing.
• Strong negotiation skills, especially for multi‑year agreements with enterprise merchants and payment intermediaries.
• Practical understanding of payment rails, QR standards and acquiring models in the target market.
• Professional English and fluency in the local market language.
• Willingness to travel as required.
