Youth Staff – Cruise Ship Activities Coordinator

About the role

As a Youth Staff member aboard MSC Cruises, you will create safe, fun, and educational experiences for children and teens while they enjoy a luxury cruise vacation. You will be the trusted point of contact for families, ensuring every young guest feels included and cared for.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead daily activities such as games, arts & crafts, workshops and themed events.
• Supervise children and teenagers, maintaining a safe environment at all times.
• Collaborate with the onboard team to integrate youth programs into the overall cruise schedule.
• Adapt activities to diverse cultural backgrounds and varying age groups.
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, to provide continuous coverage.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience as a Youth Counselor, Teacher, Camp Leader, Au Pair or similar role.
• Two professional references confirming experience with children or teens.
• Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Strong sense of responsibility, patience and empathy.
