Warehouse Intern

About the role

STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Intern to join its dynamic warehouse team. This 12‑month internship offers hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge semiconductor logistics, focusing on Lean principles, safety compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in deploying Lean methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen events and value‑stream mapping within warehouse operations.
• Support process analysis, KPI monitoring and data collection for continuous improvement projects.
• Participate in health‑and‑safety audits, risk assessments and promote safety protocols.
• Help maintain warehouse security through access‑control, surveillance support and policy enforcement.
• Contribute to logistics equipment maintenance and optimisation of warehouse layout.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Interest in Lean methodologies and process improvement.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of health and safety standards is a plus.
