Shutterer (Formwork Carpenter)

About the role

A skilled and motivated Shutterer (Formwork Carpenter) is sought to join a construction team in Malta. The person will build, assemble, install and dismantle formwork for concrete structures according to project specifications and safety standards, with precision, teamwork and a strong commitment to quality.

Key responsibilities

• Erect and dismantle formwork to specification for decks, beams, staircases and circular, T and E walls
• Pour concrete for all types of structures
• Unload shutter materials from the truck
• Dismantle and remove formwork once completed
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and materials

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Shutterer/Formwork Carpenter
• Physically fit for manual work in outdoor construction environments
• Good command of English

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical plans
• Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of site health and safety procedures

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary of 1,733 to 2,252.90 euros (about 1.94 to 2.52 lakh INR), depending on experience, qualifications and licence category
