Shore Excursion Staff

About the role

As a Shore Excursion Staff member you will be the link between guests and the unforgettable on‑shore experiences offered by MSC Cruises. You will assist guests in planning, booking and enjoying excursions at destinations around the world, ensuring every moment is memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized excursion recommendations based on guest interests and preferences.
• Manage bookings, confirmations and any changes to on‑shore activities.
• Answer guest inquiries promptly, both in person and via onboard communication channels.
• Collaborate with the shore‑excursion team and other onboard departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle on‑site issues or emergencies during excursions with professionalism.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of destinations, attractions and local regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum one year experience in tourism, hospitality or a customer‑facing role.
• Fluent English plus at least two additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Italian, Spanish).
• Strong guest‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment and work aboard a cruise ship.
• Good knowledge of popular destinations, local cultures and attractions is an advantage.
