Senior Consultant – AI-Driven Operations Agent Pilot

About the role

We are seeking an experienced hands‑on consultant to lead a pilot that introduces an AI‑driven operations/SRE agent for automating incident detection, investigation and response on a business‑critical enterprise application. The role is independent, embedded with product teams and focused on delivering a reusable, self‑service capability from first principles to a working solution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and launch the AI‑driven operations pilot, integrating observability, incident management and AI/LLM components.
• Work closely with product teams to guide adoption, define workflows and ensure the solution is reusable across services.
• Develop infrastructure‑as‑code templates and container orchestration setups to support the agent in Azure environments.
• Document standards and best‑practice guidelines for future roll‑outs.

Required profile

• Strong bias for action and ability to influence teams without formal authority.
• Proven stakeholder management, consulting and coaching skills.
• Clear communication with both technical and business audiences.

Required skills

• Cloud platform expertise, preferably Azure.
• Solid understanding of support and incident management processes and service‑desk workflows.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Application Insights or cloud‑native logging.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/LLM integration, agent frameworks or related side projects.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tooling (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
• Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Exposure to enterprise ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.
• Background in API‑first, event‑driven architectures, microservices and OpenTelemetry.
