Senior Compliance Manager – Nordics

About the role

Betsson Group is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to lead Nordic regulatory operations within its fast‑growing international iGaming business. You will act as a senior advisor, guiding the company through complex regulatory landscapes while ensuring compliance with licensing and operational obligations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high‑impact regulatory projects and ensure compliance with licensing, AML, KYC, data‑protection and other obligations in Nordic jurisdictions.
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory developments and advise on strategic responses and risk mitigation.
• Lead the drafting, submission and follow‑up of licence applications, regulatory reports and responses to authorities.
• Collaborate with Legal, Product and Commercial teams to embed compliance into business processes and product development.
• Develop and deliver advanced compliance training and awareness programmes tailored to Nordic requirements.
• Represent the compliance function during regulatory inspections and audits, ensuring thorough preparation and follow‑up.
• Maintain and enhance documentation standards and compliance records to support audit readiness and transparency.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the gambling industry.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one Nordic language.
• Deep understanding of Nordic regulatory frameworks, including AML, KYC, data protection and licensing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing complex compliance projects and regulatory interactions.
• Degree in Law, Business or a related compliance field.
• Experience in regulatory engagement, negotiation and familiarity with compliance technology platforms.
