Senior Accountant

About the role

Casumo is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join its Finance team. You will own financial reporting, compliance and audit activities across multiple entities, helping to ensure accurate and timely financial information for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly and annual financial reports for all group entities, including ledger reconciliations, accruals, pre‑payments, cost allocation and capitalization.
• Provide management with analysis and explanations of costs, revenue and balance‑sheet items, highlighting any concerns and investigating exceptions.
• Review cost‑centre postings, explain variances to budget/forecast and process necessary adjustments.
• Lead the group audit process, supplying external auditors with required documentation and analysis.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Document, update and improve internal accounting processes to strengthen internal controls.
• Prepare and submit income taxes, gaming taxes, VAT and other statutory returns to multiple authorities.
• Drive automation projects to enhance reconciliation, controlling and accounting workflows.
• Mentor junior accountants, answer queries and review their work.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and other tasks as required.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the gaming industry.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a team.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and deliver high‑quality work.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
