Room Division Manager – Hotel Operations Leader

About the role

The Room Division Manager leads the core guest‑facing departments of a hotel, ensuring seamless coordination between Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and ancillary services such as the gym. This senior position is responsible for maintaining high service standards, guest satisfaction and operational efficiency across all rooms‑related functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and gym facilities.
• Manage the Property Management System (PMS) for all rooms‑division activities.
• Coordinate maintenance projects and room‑related initiatives with relevant department heads.
• Lead, develop and evaluate departmental heads and their teams.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints and operational issues promptly.
• Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, payroll, capital expenditures and operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security and hotel policies.
• Produce operational reports and KPI analyses for senior management.
• Identify trends, propose improvements and drive performance initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior rooms‑division, front office or executive housekeeping role within hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication and team‑development abilities.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial management.
• Excellent guest‑relations and complaint‑handling skills.
• Ability to analyse reports, spot trends and implement operational improvements.
