Reservations Agent – Hotel Hospitality

About the role

The Reservations Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by handling guest inquiries and processing bookings across phone, email, and online systems. You will provide detailed information about the hotel, its facilities, and local attractions while ensuring accurate reservation management.

Key responsibilities

• Take, input, and accurately record reservations, including corporate, group, and sales office bookings.
• Process refunds, advance deposits, cancellations, and modifications, informing front‑desk and housekeeping promptly.
• Quote personalized information, upsell promotions, and send confirmation letters.
• Maintain knowledge of local tourist attractions and answer guest questions via phone, email, or in person.
• Follow hotel policies on guaranteed reservations, no‑shows, and credit coding.

Required profile

• Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar reservations or front‑office role.
• Currently residing in Malta and able to work shift duties, including Saturdays and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Opera reservation system.
