Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator will manage procurement and logistics to ensure the timely, quality, and cost‑effective supply of materials and services. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role supports operational continuity across company stores and the fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the supply chain, guaranteeing timely stock of spare parts, consumables, fuel, and lubricating oils at company stores and on the fleet.
• Procure products that meet the highest quality standards at competitive prices.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and effective collaboration.
• Monitor inventory on board vessels and oversee warehouse and store management to optimise stock levels.
• Coordinate logistics operations to guarantee seamless delivery and storage of goods.

Required profile

• Minimum of three years’ experience in purchasing and logistics management.
• Strong technical background relevant to the role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Solid analytical skills and proficient use of computers and digital management tools.
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
