Production and Packaging Planning Coordinator

About the role

PharOS, a fast‑growing pharmaceutical development company, is looking for a Production and Packaging Planning Coordinator based in Malta. The role will support short‑ and medium‑term manufacturing and packaging schedules, ensuring alignment with customer demand and supply constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain short‑term and medium‑term manufacturing and packaging schedules.
• Coordinate production plans based on customer demand, inventory targets, capacity constraints, and material availability.
• Monitor schedule adherence and flag potential risks to production execution.
• Support prioritisation and rescheduling of production activities when required.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure production orders are released according to the agreed planning schedule.
• Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings and communicate schedule changes and supply risks to stakeholders.
• Maintain planning data within ERP and other planning systems.
• Generate and analyse planning KPIs such as schedule adherence, plan attainment, and service level.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management review.
• Support the design, implementation, and standardisation of planning processes across manufacturing and packaging operations.
• Assist in defining planning policies, parameters, master‑data requirements, and governance practices.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects aimed at improving planning effectiveness and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, production flow, and inventory performance.
• Support ERP optimisation, system enhancements, and digitalisation initiatives.
• Contribute to Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence projects.
